1951 – the Company’s foundation. Its original name was “The Second Plant of Valve Manufacturing”. The first valve types to come out of the new facility were cast steel gate valves DN-400/500
1958 – the Company’s production capabilities were extended with its own steel production complex.
1961 – the dawn of a new era. The company now renamed Tyazhpromarmatura carried out 100 international projects for Afghanistan, Egypt, Rumania, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Poland, Albania, China, and Yemen.
1972 – Tyazhpromarmatura expanded into an industrial association incorporating engineering, R&D, manufacturing facilities and other subsidiaries some of which turned into separate enterprises later on.
1992 – the Company underwent structural reformation and became Penztyazhpromarmatura JSC.
1996 - the Company acquired Quality Certificate “TUV-CERT”- Germany. With a certified quality management system Penztyazhpromarmatura began to offer traditionally reliable products meeting all the requirements of EN ISO 9001.
2002 – introduction of a long-term development program embracing goals, principles of business planning and strategic vision for years ahead.
2003 – industrial overhaul program launch. Scheduled for several years it is meant to bring significant investment in new technologies and modern equipment.
2004 – striving to set higher performance benchmarks Penztyazhpromarmatura turned into a business holding run by a professional management team.
